Referral to Enforcement.

Gates were installed on this access point onto Walpole Avenue by the owners in Hazel Way.  There was no planning permission for the gates and the matter was referred to Enforcement. Enforcement visited the site and advised that a retrospective planning application would be required. The owners did not wish to submit a planning application for the gates, therefore Enforcement had to determine whether it was expedient to take any further action.  Enforcement have advised that although the gates are in breach of planning as they were set back from the road and in a rural style, it was not expedient to pursue any further action.
