Our borough councillor, Tim Archer, has sent the following update on revised council services. Issued - 2 April 2020

There has been an excellent response with establishing a support system in the village. We currently have 75 ‘road volunteers’ offering help with shopping for the elderly and those with underlying medical conditions. In addition there are 13 ‘pastoral volunteers’ offering support for anyone who may benefit from this.

As everyone is aware and will expect, virtually all organisations and groups in Chipstead have had to postpone or cancel meetings and events. For example the Chipstead Singers May 1st concert has had to be called off. The CRA AGM planned for the end of April will be rearranged in due course.
