Following the outstanding response from Chipstead Residents to act as Road and Pastoral Volunteers at the beginning of this current crisis there has been an equally impressive response in support of the Foodbank set up by the CRA and CVPS Covid 19 Steering group.

Many of the residents of roads in Chipstead turned out to remember and celebrate V.E. day with socially distanced parties and plenty of bunting evident. It proved an excellent opportunity to make contact again with many neighbours.

The borough council garden waste collection (brown bin) service has been suspended for some weeks during the Covid 19 outbreak to allow the council to re-deploy depleted staff to the main refuse collections. The service will re-start in Chipstead on Wednesday July 1st.
