Not strictly the part of Outwood Lane mentioned but the armco barrier which starts near Rook Dene house is very badly positioned as it starts mid-way through the bend, as proved by the recent car crash which just clipped the edge of the barrier and ended up in the bushes.
But now, since that accident, the barrier is bent outwards towards the road. A vehicle hitting that now would be severely damaged and would provide no protection for passengers or people walking along the footpath.
The barrier needs to be replaced and extended before anyone else is injured or dies.
