Please avoid Outwood Lane this Saturday 24 April between 7am and 9am as Kingswood are picking up litter and please volunteer for the Chipstead litter pick on Saturday 8 May.

On Saturday 24th April between 07:00 am and 09:00 pm approx,  a team of Kingswood Litter Pickers will be working on Outwood Lane towards Castle Road (both sides of the road). The road will not be closed but in order to protect  the team, Reigate and Banstead Council will have 2 trucks crawling along Outwood Lane with the team working between the 2 trucks, thereby guarding the pickers and taking away the rubbish sacks and clearing historic fly-tipping. The team will go from The Glade junction of Outwood Lane to the cottages the other side of the hill and then back the other way. Litter picking signage will be put in place to warn on-coming traffics/drivers by RBBC. 

The CVPS is organising a similar event on Saturday 8 May - meeting in The Meads car park at 10am. Our top priority is likely to be Castle Hill. If you are able to join us please e mail Alexis Marz on alexismarz@gmail.com.
