20/01905/HHOLD – 31 Lackford Road Chipstead - Part conversion of garage and increased roof height to part of garage.

No objections.

20/00633/F/AP - 13 Court Hill Chipstead Surrey CR5 3NQ - Appeal against the decision to refuse the proposal for the development of a 5-bedroom detached dwelling

Appeal to be conducted by exchange of written statements.  Objections that were submitted to the application will be passed to the Inspector.

20/01945/ HHOLD – Southwark Cottage How Lane Chipstead – Single-storey rear extension.

No objections.

20/01739/HHOLD – Pirbright Manor Hogscross Lane Chipstead – Erection of a wooden summerhouse half-way down the garden against the laurel hedge and perimeter fence.

No objections.

20/02221/HHOLD – 3 The Cottages Outwood Lane Chipstead – Single storey rear extension.

No objections.

20/02092/S73 – Courthill House 1 Court Hill Chipstead – Conversion from C2 to C3B - The accommodation will remain for people suffering from learning difficulties but for a maximum of 6 rather than 12. The mode of care has been changed, Learning Difficulties are no longer under residential care, under the new rules Learning Difficulties are under supported living of a maximum of 6 residents.

No objections.

19/02269/F/AP – Rowans Hill High Road Chipstead – Appeal against refusal for change of use to an independent special school for children with autism and related special educational needs and disabilities.

Appeal to be conducted by exchange of written statements.  Objections that were submitted to the application will be passed to the Inspector.

20/02326/Listed Building Consent – 3 Leyfield Mews Elmore Road Chipstead - Addition of 3 continuous joined conservation rooflights with external gazing bars of traditional profile to western aspect of roof

No objections – Conservation Officer’s advice to be sought.

20/02208/F – Nuthatch Rickmanshill Road Chipstead – Demolition of the existing house and erection of a block of five apartments with associated parking and landscaping.

Submission of a further application for development on this site, with minor changes from the last application for a development of 5 apartments that was refused.  All the previous objections remain relevant to this revised application and have been submitted.

20/02209/F – Nuthatch Rickmanshill Road Chipstead – Erection of a single storey two-bedroom dwelling to the rear garden of the existing plot, with associated parking and landscaping.

A second submission for the same site.  Minor changes have been made but otherwise this is substantially the same as the previous application for an additional property development on the site that was refused. The previous objections are all relevant to this application and have been submitted.  The proposed development would cause a harmful impact to neighbouring properties and overall, to the character of the area.

20/01623/S73 – Bouverie Road Chipstead – New additional dwelling and access. Variation of Condition 1 of permission 19/01278/F. Minor alterations to the scheme.


20/01688/ HHOLD – 7 Vincents Close Chipstead – Erection of single-storey rear extension and minor alterations to existing side/rear extension.


20/01687/F – Proposed upgrade of telecommunications base at Station Approach Chipstead.


20/01687/F – Eveline Stables High Road Chipstead – Garage/Storage shed for equestrian and country management equipment.


20/01817/F – Land at the rear of Uplands Walpole Ave Chipstead – Development of two new four bed detached properties.

Refused. The proposal would be harmful to the RASC.  The scale of development is at odds with the character of this part of Hazel Way.

20/01801/HH – 5 Old School Mews High Road Chipstead – Single storey rear extension.


20/00666/HHOLD – Court Mead Coulsdon Lane – Retrospective application for retention of front wall and entrance gates.  Revised plans.

Approved with conditions; these are being followed up with RBBC: 

(1) the piers on the wall to be reduced in height to the same height (1.65m) as the main wall and be permanently maintained as such. 

(2) a full detailed scheme for the landscaping of the land in front of the wall to include schedules of plants and an implementation and management plan be approved in writing by the LPA.

20/00156/F – Site of former Hedgeside – Plot B – Amendments to plans for a fourth dwelling.


19/00201/S215-3 – Longshaw Stables - Enforcement Action requiring repairs

Some repairs have been undertaken but still awaiting information from RBBC on completion.

19/01005/HH – 1 Pigeon House Farm White Hill Chipstead – To create a new sole use driveway into our property.  Amendments submitted as requested 5/12/2019, 20/1/2020, 9/3/2020

 19/00237/CU - Highlands Blackhorse Lane Lower Kingswood - Change of use of the site to accommodate 4 gypsy pitches, each comprising one static caravan and one touring caravan for up to four gypsy families.
