During the last 5 months the village has benefitted from the existence of a group of 75 volunteers who made themselves available for shopping and the collection of prescriptions for vulnerable members of the community

This group was rapidly established back in March when there was total uncertainty about what was going to happen and the amount of help that would be required to tackle the dreaded Covid 19 Virus.

Now that the crisis has eased and lock-down has come to an end it has been decided that the Covid 19 support group should be suspended although it will be rejuvenated if there is a need in the future. The CRA and the CVPS are very grateful to the volunteers who offered their time so willingly. Even if you did not personally use the volunteers, we all benefitted from knowing that help was available if necessary.
