Chipstead Residents’ Association and Chipstead Village Preservation Society are asking for volunteers to deliver food and collect prescriptions for those in the village who need to self-isolate for health or age reasons.

Once we know how many volunteers there will be, they will each be asked to take responsibility for a small part of the village. They will provide a shopping service for essential items to those who cannot leave home and who do not have support from any other source.

We are already indebted to the initiatives taken by Rebecca Fitch-Carpenter (CRA) and Stella Bury (CVPS). As a result a small working party is being established of members of the CRA and CVPS in order to co-ordinate support for residents during this difficult period.
