The Village Preservation Society will be holding an EGM in the Peter Aubertin Hall on Monday February 24th , in order to;

1)     Consider the conversion of the existing charity to being a Charitable Incorporated Organisation and

2)      Receive a presentation on a proposal by Sean Clare to build  two tree  houses on CVPS land at Embers Shaw.

Village ponds – the CVPS in collaboration with the Downlands Partnership have completed the annual clear up of Elmore,   Vincent Green and Church ponds. CVPS volunteers led by John Bunner spent many hours toiling in cold weather, raking out pond weed, silt and tree branches.

All ponds are now in pristine condition – a remarkable transition – with clear water and tidy neat banks. We are most grateful for all the hard work of these volunteers.
