Monday 6th May 2019 Woodmansterne Village May Queen Fete takes place on the Village Green on Monday the 6th May 2019. The procession will leave from The Readens at 12.50pm and travel up Chipstead Way, arriving on the Village Green at approx. 1.15pm.
This year’s May Queen are Amber Masini and Molly Ingram. They will be crowned by the Worshipful Mayor of Reigate & Banstead, Cllr Dorothy Ross-Tomlin and her Consort, Mr Jim Ross-Tomlin.
Amber and Molly are both aged 12 and have lived in Woodmansterne all their lives. They have been friends since they were 6 months old and wanted to always be May Queens' together. They joined the May Queen Group in 2011. Both girls attended Woodmansterne Primary School and are now at The Beacon School. Their hobbies include dancing.
Stalls at the fete this year will include a bouncy castle, children's rides, face painting, tombola’s, raffle, refreshments and many more.

This year we will be raising money for local charities as well as Crohn's & Colitis UK (Registered charity no: 1117148) and RSPCA (Registered charity no: 219099) both of which are fantastic Charities which are close to the girl's hearts.
